On your wedding day it is obviously very important that everything runs smoothly. Please just take a few moments to read these terms and conditions.
Your wedding cake will be made according to your instructions.
Any deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your wedding within 6 weeks of the date then the full amount will become payable.
If for whatever reason we are unable to obtain a particular item requested ie pillars, bride and groom etc we will contact you and offer you an alternative which we consider suitable.
Please ensure that we have any colour swatches @ least 1 month before your wedding.
All payments must be received in full before your cake can be delivered. Should you wish to pay by cheque then it will need time to clear before your wedding.
We reserve the right to charge or refuse delivery if your wedding is not on a Saturday, or if the venue is more than 20 miles from Southend-on-sea.
On Saturdays, it is important that you check that there will be someone @ your venue between the hours of 10am and 2pm.
As you an appreciate, we sometimes have quite a few cakes to set up and deliver. If we have to wait for florists, tablecloths etc, this can put us behind. We will only be able to wait for 30 mins for such things. After this time we reserve the right to leave your cake for the venue to set up and proceed to our next destination. We cannot be held responsible for uneven flooring so please bear this in mind when choosing where you want your cake to be placed.
Should you choose to collect your cake, we will ensure that it is packed in strong boxes. We will then advise you on the best methods of transportation. However in the unlikely event of any damage occurng after this then we cannot be held resposible.
All sponge based cakes will need to be stored in a cool dry enviroment ( not in the ridge) and we recommend tha they are consumed within 7-10 days for maximum enjoyment.
After your wedding please ensure that all stands and knives are returned to us promptly as we have other Brides requiring the use of them. Please note that we do not open on a Monday.
We can advise on the storage of any uncut fruit cakes and we do offer a re-ice service.
